In addition to using the Living the Questions curriculum, the group discusses books and recent articles that explore the intersection of faith, current events, and society.
About 3 years ago, the group began meeting virtually to accommodate members who could not come in-person, and then continued this practice during the pandemic.
For the past 2 years, the group discussed a series of books on current topics, including His Truth Is Marching On, John Meacham’s biography of John Lewis; Katie Mack’s discussion of current astrophysics, The End of Everything; and books on climate change, Gates’ How to Avoid Climate Disaster, and Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass; and Raskin’s Incredible
The LTQ group looks at the faith call within current issues, and often shares short videos that make the questions come alive. New members are welcome!
